The team emphasized several key features during the showcase:

Lincoln AI Learning Assistant

The Learning Assistant is built directly into the Lincoln Empowered Curriculum. Students can ask questions without leaving their lesson or switching tabs. Each subject area has its own assistant, so the help provided matches the content and grade level. The Learning Assistant responds to both text and voice input and is designed to keep students focused, engaged, and on topic.

• The Learning Assistant uses lesson content as its source.
• It adapts explanations to the student’s grade level.
• Safety and privacy are built in; student input isn’t used for training after the lesson ends.
• Teachers can rely on the Learning Assistant to help with “I don’t get this” moments, especially when managing multiple students.

Lincoln AI Learning Coach

The Learning Coach meets students where they are — helping with homework using the materials they already have. Students can upload files, use digital documents, or take a photo of an assignment for guided help. The Learning Coach is customizable and includes an AI literacy guide to help students learn how to use AI responsibly.

Key features include:

• Works with any content, not just Lincoln Learning materials.
• Offers both text and voice interaction.
• Guides students through concepts and prompts for critical thinking.
• Keeps conversations focused on academics and redirects off-topic questions.
