In honor of Evan-Moor's 40 year milestone, we wanted to give you some fun facts about Monterey, the city in which Evan-Moor is headquartered.
While history was being made in Philadelphia in 1776, Monterey was named as the capital of Baja (lower) and Alta (upper) California by Spain that same year.
California’s first constitution was drafted in October 1849 at Colton Hall (pictured), a landmark in the city of Monterey and a festive location for the city’s 4th of July celebration.
