Above and Beyond
In this edition of The Bridge, we are featuring a new section on our Milestone page. The Above and Beyond section is your chance to give your coworkers kudos for a job well done. It doesn’t matter if it’s someone on your team or someone in another department. If that someone has gone above and beyond in their work and you think they should be recognized for their efforts, please submit a brief summary to communications@lincolnlearningsolutions.org with the subject Above and Beyond.
Here’s our first submission:
Her title is Manager of Quality Management, but she does so much more. Yes folks, I’m talking about Jacki White.
I’m not new to technical writing or software development, but I am new to Lincoln Learning Solutions and the educational space. Since I started as a contractor back in June 2019, to when I went full time in October 2019, to daily stand up meetings for our new SMS, Jacki has gone above and beyond to educate me on the Lincoln Learning Solutions’ way. She has also been critical to incorporating technical writing into the LLS way.
Our relationship started with the development of a user guide for the PA Cyber District Billing application and blossomed from there. Jacki not only ensured that technical writing was incorporated into the software development life cycle, she also developed specialized documentation boards and queries for me in our software development tracking application. Doing so made my LLS life and interaction with the development teams as easy as possible. She even got me involved in the Spark Pittsburgh challenge.
Thank you, Jacki, for going above and beyond!
