The Bottom Line

Like any accountant worth his salt, LLS CFO Jim Livingstone gets to the bottom line without sugarcoating it. That’s in spite of the innumerable projects his department deals with on a daily basis.

He and the entire executive team are very proud of our staff at the warehouse for their outstanding contribution to Lincoln Learning Solutions' goal to get our clients off to a great start to the 2018-2019 school year. Although the team is part of client services, Jim is always looking at the numbers, and theirs are impressive:

From July 1 through September 15,  LLS processed close to 78,000 course enrollments for 12,700 students. These enrollments resulted in more than 100,000 packages shipping from the LLS warehouse. Hats off!

Meanwhile, the finance team is focusing on revising our travel policy, which Livingstone projects will be done by the end of the year. Check out Concur when you get a moment. Jim says we’ll likely utilize their impressive integration expertise to streamline arrangements for our heavy travel schedule.

There is also an effort underway to integrate LLS and Evan-Moor benefits. Staff has begun the review process.

Jim says he foresees cost and time efficiencies for everyone involved. And that is the bottom line.
