Philanthropy

No matter the time of year, our philanthropic efforts are in full swing. Our communities need us, and we answer the call.

Many of us, right now, are in the midst of serving the Big Brothers Big Sisters Beyond School Walls program. Others have taken part in Junior Achievement. We’re writing checks to educational foundations and supplying elbow grease to spruce up community parks.

Our Board of Directors generously approved a Day of Caring for each of you to extend your generosity to the cause of your choice. We think it’s been a success, but we’d like to know for sure. Please help us by completing this brief survey

Growing Generosity

Lincoln Learning Solutions cares for our communities. Our collective contribution to the United Way’s Day of Caring recently helped scads of organizations throughout the Beaver Valley.

We encourage you to continue giving back to your communities. If you’re in search of an organization that needs a helping hand, reach out to George Pacinda, who can help you come up with a good fit.

Building Relationships

“The generosity of Lincoln Learning has enabled MHY Longmore Academy to expose students to a variety of academic experiences including art, music, and STEM.”

That was the assessment of Christine Raymond, MHY’s Director of Education, after Lincoln Learning Solutions recently contributed more than $18,000 in educational resources to the Mars-based organization.

“With the recent access to Lincoln Learning's digital library, we will have an even greater impact to expand what we offer in terms of curriculum,” she said.

LLS executives and staff recently visited the private academy, which provides education for at-risk youth in grades three through 12, to replace outdated technology and provide professional development services so teachers can tailor their lessons to the individual needs of their students.

“I can’t wait until next year to see all the ways that we can continue to help these students,” LLS VP of Philanthropy, George Pacinda said.
