Happy New Year!

A new year is always an inspiration. We begin anew and take advantage of a fresh start. Reflecting on the past is sometimes fuel for ambition in and of itself.

When I reflect on our achievements of 2019, I’m filled with pride. Take a look at our newsletters from the past year to see for yourself. We’ve climbed many mountains and reached many summits. We are at it again this year with an attempt to conquer the Matterhorn. Each of the flags we plant at the top of the summit is a victory for all of us and our clients.

The key to our success – to finding solutions – lies in collaboration. None of our efforts takes place in a vacuum. We rely on one another to reach these plateaus.

Of course, we rely on our clients, foremost. Closing out 2019 with a Leadership Summit further demonstrated our commitment to keeping the lines of communication open. We listen. Emphasizing our attentiveness and flexibility is key to our clients if they are to empower teachers to reach new heights in educating kids.

We will celebrate 15 years as an organization this year. While we, too, have reached great heights, we’ve also stayed true to our roots. Philanthropy always has been a quality that sets us apart from competitors. It remains and will continue that way.

Philanthropy serves as the basis for many articles in our first newsletter of 2020. And rightly so. After all, each and every one of you plays an integral role in our efforts to give back to our communities. The United Way, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Hekima Place, and The Bradley Center are all appreciative of what we do. From collecting toys for deserving children, food for hungry neighbors and gifts for troubled teens to reviving community parks and mentoring our youth, this big family is giving back in a big way.

On behalf of the Lincoln Learning Solutions executive team and board of directors, Happy New Year, and here’s to a great 2020! I leave you with one of my favorite shots of last year, a terrific photo of our staff that will be on display at Hekima Place.

Regards,

P.S. Please don’t forget to use your “Day of Service” to volunteer for the cause of your choice in 2020 and let us know if you’ve used it in the past by answering this two-question survey.

Group PhotoAs requested by Hekima Place staff, this group shot of our staff will hang on the school wall of honor in thanks and gratitude for our contribution to making Hekima Hills Learning Centre a reality. The school will open this month.
