Dear Lincoln Learning Solutions Family,
As last quarter came to a close, a new school year began. Thanks to an incredible team effort, thousands of students will benefit from the solutions we’re providing to our clients – whether they’re in the form of curriculum or simply making administrative processes run smoothly. Whatever the case, it should serve as a reminder to everyone that we are having a positive impact on students and educators. As this quarter unfolds, we’ll redouble our efforts to maximize student performance by enhancing the talents of educators. We are recommitting ourselves to being inclusive and adaptive, strengths that set us apart, make us unique. In this edition of “The Bridge,” you’ll learn about a few of the initiatives that underscore those traits.
We are designing and developing educational experiences that yield student success, as we are ever mindful that the teachers we work with best understand what their students need. There’s no such thing as creating an effective product in a vacuum. Our clients must and will be a part of the solution.
At the same time, we recognize that each day brings new challenges. So it’s imperative to continually tweak our solutions to adapt to our clients’ needs and expand our offerings in order to serve as a one-stop-shop for client success.
In fact, as we are finalizing this edition of “The Bridge,” we are up against a new challenge coming from the state Capitol. On the heels of Governor Wolf’s proposed regulatory changes that would have a terrible impact on our clients and us, we got hit with a bill introduction by state Rep. Curt Sonney that essentially aims to put cyber charter schools out of business. I urge you to stay on top of these issues and support the efforts of the Pennsylvania Coalition of Public Charter Schools to combat the attacks on school choice.
Together, we can have an impact on this. The coalition reports that they are getting very positive feedback from policymakers about the calls, emails and letters they have received from charter parents, teachers and supporters. Please make your voice be heard.
Best,
