Boy, did we ever goof! When we launched the first edition of our newsletter, we snubbed Evan-Moor. That’s a fine how do you do, right? Well, obviously, we did not intend to deprive our new brothers and sisters in arms by not including them on the email list. We are blaming it on “technical difficulties” and “senior moments.” Please accept our apologies and let us make it up to you.
Speaking of…
We would like to adopt a practice Bill Evans suggested, because it worked well at Evan-Moor. As part of our newsletter, we want to recognize employees who reach a professional milestone, whether it be a significant work anniversary or maybe completion of a big project. Managers, please email The Bridge with any suggestion you have for your team at communications@lincolnlearinngsolutions.org.
Working smarter
Our tech team is on target for a spring completion of the SoftChalk replacement Daryl Care told us about in our last newsletter. The new system is far superior and will do wonders to enhance our curriculum. The team gave PA Cyber a demo in December and reports that it was well received as a way to customize and personalize their curriculum. Nice work!

Security Joe
We hope the recent extension of the screen lockout threshold from 15 minutes to two hours is giving you greater flexibility and convenience, but our brothers and sisters in IT remind us that we are all stewards of our data and assets. If you walk away from your computer, please ensure you lock your screen and don’t forget to take your security training.
Celebrating the life and achievements of MLK
Derinda wants to remind everyone that LLS is picking up the cost of tickets to the MLK celebration at Lincoln Park on January 21, and that attendance gives you credit toward Act 48 clearance. For tickets, contact Billie Morrison at bmorrison@lincolnlearningsolutions.org or Esther Anderson at eanderson@lincolnlearningsolutions.org.
We’ll have a booth, please
Efforts are underway in the IT department to redevelop our automated back end, or ABE, system. ABE 2.0 – code name “Booth,” will deliver much-needed capabilities for our client services team to more efficiently onboard clients. With a streamlined enrollment process, enhanced integrations for alternate Learning Management Systems, and improved user experience and functionality, it will be a commercially marketable product to compete in the Student Information System space.
