Raising Our Voice
Critical issues adversely impacting our clients and us are brewing at the state Capitol. We are relying now more than ever on the Pennsylvania Coalition of Public Charter Schools. They speak for us. They advocate for us. They keep us tuned in. Now, they need us to add our voices to a growing list of school choice advocates speaking out against the governor’s proposed regulatory changes. Please take a few moments to learn more about this issue and lend your voice to the cause.

Fall Book Harvest
Each day, LLS proudly saves a tree by offering educational resources online, reducing the need for voluminous, clunky textbooks. Now, we’re taking a stab at the other two Rs. From Oct. 7-Oct. 11, we’re collecting books in our Fall Book Harvest. We'll sort them and donate the books for others to reuse…or pulp and recycle them if they’re really old and useless. Time to de-clutter and donate, team. Look for a donation box nearby. Remember: Reuse, Reduce, Recycle.
Dunkin' Perks
What’s not to love about rubbing elbows with your colleagues outdoors in a beautiful setting on a gorgeous day…a workday, no less! Besides the sunshine, great food and drinks, and a cornhole tournament, Lincoln Learning Solutions’ recent picnic at Bradys Run Park even gave employees a shot at dunking an exec. Enjoy the photos!
Sharing is Caring
If you run across blogs, articles or videos you think might be valuable or interesting to teachers, administrators, parents, or clients, please let us know. Send your link and a one-sentence summary to communications@lincolnlearningsolutions.org. We’ll review it and share it on our social media platforms.
Spooky Story (and bonus Monterey Fun Fact)
As Halloween approaches, who doesn’t enjoy a good local ghost story? The legendary Ghost Tree at Pescadero Point in Pebble Beach is approximately 10 miles from Evan-Moor’s office. This gnarled and barren tree on the edge of a rocky cliff looks spooky on its own, especially on a foggy day – but it is also purportedly haunted by the “Lady in Lace” who owned the land hundreds of years ago.
