The social distancing efforts and quarantine mandates in response to the Covid-19 outbreak are unlike anything we’ve ever seen. As time passes, this isolation will likely lead to boredom and anxiety as we get further from our normal routine. No matter your situation, here are a few ideas to help you make the most of your time at home.

1. Create a Schedule

Creating a routine for you and/or your kids will help to reduce stress and anxiety because everyone in your family will know what to expect. You likely have a weekly routine for work and school, so why not create one for the next few weeks?

Wake up, get ready for the day, and encourage your kids to do the same.  The following schedule from Instagram user @allthings_lovelyxo was featured on Today’s website.

Make it a priority to get fresh air each day. Depending on your location, it can be chilly this time of year, but the days are longer. Take a walk, go on a hike, or ride your bike. All of these activities are possible while keeping to social distancing guidelines.
